It all started in 1997 with four people in a garage in MΓΌnster. Today we are already more than 300 IKORians worldwide at 8 locations! Let's put it this way: The first 25 years were significant, exciting and sometimes turbulent. Thanks for that πŸ˜‰

  • Foundation as IKOR Management- und Systemberatung GmbH in MΓΌnster, Germany
  • Started in the garage of one of our founders, Markus Poggemann; at this time IKOR consists of a group of freelancers

  • First employee
  • The IKOR claim is created: "We find solutions" -

  • The garage space reaches its limit, IKOR moves into an office in Oberhausen

  • IKOR founds the subsidiary IKOR Products GmbH and starts working on the SAP add-on "Procedure for determining and realizing deductible input tax", in short: VERA

Due to strong growth in the north, IKOR is looking for premises for an office in Hamburg. The office in Ottenser Hauptstraße is being built

IKOR establishes its own employee representative body under the name Employee Circle of Trust (ECoT)

2005
  • IKOR now employs 63 people.
  • The SAP add-on VERA is in use for the first time
2007
  • Tenth anniversary of IKOR
  • IKOR employs 73 people
  • In-house leadership development program, talent training and leadership guidelines
2009
  • IKOR wins Allianz Insurance as customer for VERA SAP add-on
  • IKOR now has 92 employees
2010
  • IKOR becomes a SAP service partner
  • IKOR moves to larger business premises in Westend Ottensen, Borselstraße
  • With 107 employees, IKOR grows to a three-digit number of employees
2012
  • The IKOR Process Control Stationβ„’ IPLS becomes a registered trademark. The functions of the framework have already been used by customers for several years in varying degrees under the names "Service Oriented Architecture", "Automatic Process Flow" (APA) and others
  • The SAP add-on IRMA (IKOR Provision Manager) is released to the market. First customer is DZ Bank
  • IKOR employs 126 people

IKOR grows to 149 employees

  • Participation and sponsorship of the first hackathon for the insurance industry: "InsurHack" of Zurich Versicherungen
  • Participated in the first implementation of the complete Guidewire InsuranceSuite in Germany - a core system for property insurers in the USA. IKOR convinces with the handling of a non-SAP technology
2017
  • IKOR becomes a joint stock company
  • The SAP add-on IRMA goes into operation at DZ Bank
  • IKOR celebrates its 20th anniversary
  • IKOR Becomes Guidewire Consulting Partner and Joins Guidewire Partner Connectβ„’ Program
  • The newly founded company IKOR Finsure GmbH is launched. IKOR concentrates its expertise on Guidewire technologies in the subsidiary for the first time in a German-speaking region

  • IKOR employs 180 people
  • Foundation of IKOR Assurance GmbH with focus on SAP assurance technology
  • SAP's LISA add-on - "Mapping leases in accordance with IFRS 16" - goes on the market and simplifies the accounting of leases
  • Foundation of the IKOR Development Center as a near shoring unit in Belgrade, Serbia
  • IKOR becomes a Preferred Supplier of SAP Germany

  • New milestone: IKOR breaks the 200 mark with 212 employees
  • We establish IKOR Austria GmbH in Vienna, Austria
  • The SAP add-on SARA for the automated submission of sales tax goes to market. SARA associates and evaluates all relevant data from various company systems
2020
  • IKOR grows to 253 employees
  • The investor Ufenau Capital Partners supports IKOR in its growth
  • Foundation of IKOR Polska Sp. z o.o. in Warsaw and another office in Wroclaw, both in Poland z o.o. in Warsaw and another office in Wroclaw, both in Poland
