IKOR AG continues their expansion strategy with the new company start-up in Poland. IKOR Polska Sp. Warsaw-based z. o.o. offers Polish insurers same scope of services as the technology consulting company from Hamburg. IKOR daughter serves both German and international clients as a nearshore center for development as well as Application-Lifecycle-Management for Guidewire solutions.
IKOR AG continues their expansion strategy with the new company start-up in Poland. Warsaw-based IKOR Polska Sp. z. o.o. offers Polish insurers same scope of services as the technology consulting company from Hamburg. IKOR daughter serves both German and international clients as a nearshore center for development as well as Application-Lifecycle-Management for Guidewire solutions. „Poland is significant for our expansion strategy both as a location and a target market”, explains Sven Geilich, chairman of IKOR, about the new daughter company. Thereby provides the integration specialist IKOR also substantial extension to the existing local IT-consulting services for the Polish insurers. „Considering new channels for insurance clients, complex IT landscapes and platform economy, integrability of all the system components is what really matters”, explains Mr Geilich. His words prove and emphasize the importance of the offer.
Nearshoring in the Polish talent market
Sven Schlünzen, Managing Director of IKOR Polska, supplements that the Polish daughter serves on top as a nearshore center for international clients. The offer goes from new development to Application-Lifecycle-Management for Guidewire solutions: „This enables us on one hand to respond better to the ongoing demand, on the other – to offer our clients an attractive pricing model.”
“Polish location should not be underrated when it comes to the new talent acquisition in the highly inquired IT jobs”, highlights Mateusz Eichler, aside of Mr Schlünzen also Managing Director of IKOR Polska. With the 44-year-old Mr Eichler joining the team, IKOR has gained an internationally experienced manager who additionally knows his own market very well. The business manager has been engaged in a number of leadership roles on digitization projects for German and European insurance companies and has already experience in building of nearshore centers in Poland.
