Portfolio expansion: IKOR acquires StepStream integration solution

With retroactive effect from June 22, 2023, IKOR is taking over the integration solution StepStream by StepStream GmbH in Dormagen, Germany. IKOR now combines the solution with its own platform strategy. Meanwhile, StepStream GmbH will remain in existence and continue its consulting activities - regardless of the name of the company.

Expansion of platform strategy and end-to-end consulting capability in finance and insurance sector

StepStream is an established, scalable solution with an extensive customer base: "With the acquisition of the StepStream solution, we are strengthening our platform strategy and the innovative power of our SIP system integration platform. At the same time, we are expanding our end-to-end consulting capability and thus increasing our potential in the insurance and financial services sector," explains IKOR Managing Director, Sebastian Herrgesell.

SIP is an integration platform developed by IKOR that can be used in various contexts. It is a highly reliable technology that is used by well-known international insurers as well as in the public sector. IKOR has made the SIP framework open source in 2021 and allows its customers to design a standardized integration architecture - without the vendor dependencies often associated with it.
